Birmingham associate James Roberts has been selected as a finalist for the Future Leaders category in the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards for North America. His recognition for this award celebrates the achievements that he has made as a diversity and inclusion pioneer for the legal profession. Finalists were judged by the D&I team, United States and Canadian editors.
The 2020 awards will be announced virtually on September 24th with an awards ceremony celebrating the achievements made across the United States and Canada. James works in the Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Group in the firm’s Birmingham office. His practice focuses on all aspects of corporate restructuring, bankruptcy, and insolvency proceedings, including Section 363 sales, disorderly winddowns, preference, and fraudulent transfer litigation, as well as debtor and secured creditor representation. James also sits on the firm’s diversity committee and is highly involved in the firm’s diversity initiatives.
